Help Global Radio get into the Play Store
Global Radio plays live radio from 172 countries, on your phone and in the car. Google only lets a new app into the Play Store after 12 people have tested it for 14 days. You can be one of them. It takes about a minute.
You need an Android phone. Do all three steps on it, signed in to the Google account your Play Store uses.
-
Join the testers group
Tap Join group at the top. You will not get any emails from it.
Open the testers group -
Become a tester
Tap Become a tester. If it says the app is not available, wait a minute and open it again.
Open the tester sign-up -
Install it
Tap Install. It updates by itself after that.
If the Play Store says "Item not found", you are signed up but Google has not caught up yet. That can take a few hours. Try this button again later, and check the Play Store is on the same Google account you joined with.

What the 14 days mean
- Stay signed up and keep the app installed for 14 days. That is the count Google keeps. If you leave early, the count drops.
- Use it a few times. Not every day. Put on a station now and then, at home or in the car. Google checks that testers really used the app.
- Tell me one thing. A station that didn't play, something confusing, an idea. Write to contact@globalradio.app.
Good to know
- Free, no ads, no account.
- In the car it works through Android Auto.
- Joining shares your email address with the developer, as any Play test does. It is not used for anything else.
- After the 14 days you can keep the app. To stop testing, open the tester sign-up link again and leave.
